23 year old man pleads guilty to killing former UNI football player

My friend Jaz Granderson and his family finally find some peace today. Mr. Floyd Barber you took a good man, a man who was dedicated to helping young kids learn the game of football.  I please ask the Lord to forgive you.

Jaz Granderson and myself became close because he wanted to play in the NFL so bad. I worked so hard to help with anything I could. He had recently landed a position at De Smet Jesuit High School before getting shot in cold blood during a car jacking.

Well today, Granderson may have not won the Super Bowl, but his family has some closure.  Floyd Barber a 23 year old pled guilty to four counts, including using a firearm in a carjacking which resulted in the death of our friend.

Barber was involved in multiple carjackings in 2017 according to reports, but Granderson was killed for his Jeep Grand Cherokee. I please ask that you keep the Granderson family in your prayers, and please pray that Mr. Barber finds the Lord in that prison cell.
