Gerald McCoy really must want to stick it to the Buccaneers

Gerald McCoy must want to stick it to his old team, because today he picked the Panthers over the Ravens and Browns.

Today the Carolina Panthers signed defensive tackle Gerald McCoy. I think this was a shocking move, as his former coach was the Ravens defensive line coach, and the Browns were the first team to bring him in.

There must be some bad blood between the Buccaneers and McCoy because he was quick to sign to the Buccaneers division rival. There were rumors last week from Rick Stroud that McCoy had already received offers around 11 million per year.

McCoy however signed a one year deal worth up to 8.5 million a year with the Panthers but he will get to face the Bucs twice a year. That has to be worth more than a million and a half right? It will be interesting to see how well McCoy does with his new team.

I feel bad for the Buccaneers because McCoy is coming.
