Former Oregon Duck tight end Colt Lyerla arrested for possession of heroin and assault of a female
Do you remember when Colt Lyerla was going to enter the NFL Draft? Many thought he was the most talented Oregon Duck on the roster that year, but man has his life went up in smoke.
He is in the news again, but not for football. According to the Oregonian, the former Ducks tight end was arrested for attacking his girlfriend in Eugene, Oregon on Monday trying to run from the police.
Officers had to use a stun gun on Lyerla who was found with heroin on him as well. The 26 year old has a problem and needs help. It is not funny to publish this, but he needs help and needs help now.
He is being held for accusations of second degree assault where he reportedly strangled, his girlfriend and was also hit with menacing, coercion and unlawful possession of heroin.
