New York Jets signed a familiar face today

Bilal Powell being added to the Jets backfield makes too much sense, especially if he is 100 percent.

The New York Jets will work our a very familiar face today. Bilal Powell is in town visiting the Jets and has signed according to reports.

Powell was drafted in the fourth round by the Jets back in 2011, after a solid NCAA career at Louisville.

Powell has 5000 combined yards (rushing and receiving) and 20 Combined touchdowns. He will be a great addition to Le’Veon Bell and to help them get the ball in the end zone in red zone situations.

Powell started the first seven games of the season, recording 343 rushing yards with no touchdowns along with 11 receptions for 110 yards and one touchdown. He suffered a neck injury in Week 7 and was placed on injured reserve on October 24, 2018.
