Redskins RB Adrian Peterson has his mark set at 2000 yards for 2019

Adrian Peterson is hoping to hit 2000 yards in his second season with the Washington Redskins.

Adrian Peterson is entering his 12th season and last year he did surprisingly well hitting 1,042 yards on the ground.

Well in his second season with the Redskins he has a new goal.  He is aiming for 2k.

“If God’s willing, I can duplicate that and do it even better, I got my mark set at 2,000 yards, I’ve always had it at that mark since I stepped into the league. So that’s where it’s at. But most importantly, I just want to contribute to the team and help this team win a Championship.”

Peterson became the fifth player to rush for 1,000 yards at the age of 33 or older to include John Riggins, J.H. Johnson, Frank Gore, and Franco Harris.

It would be nice to see Peterson hit 2,000 but it is highly unlikely with Derrius Guice returning.
