Giants may have found a sleeper in Daniel Jones, he is learning offense quick

Daniel Jones has impressed his veteran tight end with his abilities so far in camp.

Evan Engram the New York Giants starting tight end seems to be super impressed with Daniel Jones, the quarterback the Giants selected with the 6th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.  Everyone was picking on the Giants for taking their quarterback of the future, but Engram was raving about him.

“He’s picking up (the offense) really fast,” Engram said Thursday night during a softball game at Yankee Stadium, via Matt Lombardo of NJ.com.  “They’ve been trying to throw some stuff at him and he’s handled it really well.”

Remember when the media attacked the Buffalo Bills for taking Josh Allen early?  Could this be the same type of thing with Daniel Jones?

Engram went on to say Eli looks “REALLY GOOD”, but still it is a pretty impressive start in my opinion for Jones. Everyone was rooting for him to fail, but he is impressing his veterans, and that is key.
