It has finally arrived. The NFL DRAFT IS TONIGHT! There will be talk all day long about who is going where, and what teams are trying to do, but remember this is smokescreen season. People are trying to throw off the media and it is working.
In the last 24 hours I have read that the Raiders are considering a quarterback at number 4, the Cardinals are not set on their draft pick, and the Jets love Ed Oliver.
I am sorry, but none of those make sense. The Raiders are not considering a quarterback at number four, they are trying to get a team to trade up to draft a quarterback so Quinnen Williams falls to them at four. They would much rather have a team like the Redskins being ran by Dan Snyder to trade up than to lose out on the Alabama defensive tackle. Another one is the Cardinals have not narrowed down their pick. COME ON, they have had four months and this has been done for 3 and a half months. They are going Kyler Murray and Josh Rosen will be traded. I am willing to bet they have a trade already in place for Rosen too.
The Jets taking Ed Oliver that is a lie too. He does not fit the scheme. I think they go Quinnen Williams, but if they can get a decent enough trade they will move down to add to their arsenal. At the end of the day, it is smoke screen season. So be careful.
