Breaking: Redskins are expected to sign DE Andrew Ankrah from Orlando Apollos

Orlando Apollos linebacker Andrew Ankrah (55) is expected to join the Washington Redskins. The former JMU pass rusher will be a great signing by the Redskins!

We are learning that the Washington Redskins are expected to sign former James Madison University pass rusher Andrew Ankrah to a contract in the coming days.

Ankrah played this season with the Orlando Apollos and really shined in the rotation with Ryan Davis and Earl Okine. Ankrah is young, and a force off the edge. The Redskins could use a pass rusher, and Ankrah fits what the Skins need.

In 2017, Ankrah was the Colonial Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year for his 45 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. His 23-yard scoop-and-score helped JMU win a conference game at Delaware.

I feel this is going to be a great signing!
