Three Birmingham Iron offensive linemen are expected to sign with the NFL teams; Others have workouts

We are hearing that three offensive lineman for the Birmingham Iron are planning on signing with NFL teams in the coming days. Both Brandon Greene the former Alabama offensive lineman and Kitt O’Brien the former Ball State offensive lineman are planning to sign with the Carolina Panthers and JC Hassenauer the former Alabama offensive lineman is planning to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Birmingham Iron was a force at the goal line this year opening holes for former Alabama running back Trent Richardson. Birmingham had a solid team this year. Their quarterback Luis Perez will have a workout next week with the Eagles, per Adam Caplan, and we are learning that linebacker Beniquez Brown is working out with the Cincinnati Bengals.
