Apollos put a spanking on the Legends, AAF Attendance for Atlanta hits All-Time High
Today the Orlando Apollos came out the gate upset. They played mad the entire game and poor Atlanta suffered for the loss last week to the Apollos.
De’Veon Smith was the MVP of the game today as he scored three times on the ground. The former Michigan running back was a beast for the Apollos. The Legends struggled to get on the board only scoring six points. The Apollos won the game 36-6, as they improve to 6-1 on the season. Garrett Gilbert added 217 yards through the air and the Apollos defense had two interceptions one returned for a touchdown.
The attendance for the Legends was a record high though. The fans poured in today. The total amount of paid attendance was 11,416 which was almost 500 more than they have averaged all year. The league is picking up steam.
