Fleet fans pack the stadium but Iron had too much Trent Richardson and Luis Perez

The Fleet were not going away against the Birmingham Iron. They wanted to win in front of their hometown fans

The Birmingham Iron have been tough to beat this year because Trent Richardson has been playing lights out. Well tonight, Richardson was at it again. He scored twice, once through the air and once on the ground.

San Diego tried to keep the game close in the third after they scored a rushing touchdown with 8:56 in the third.

After a huge interception the Fleet took over and went right down the field and scored taking the lead 23-21 with 4:28 left in the third.

The Fleet and Iron would go back and forth but there was just too much Luis Perez and Trent Richardson for the Fleet. Perez who replaced Keith Price in the 1st quarter came in and was a beast for the Iron.

The Iron held on to get the win 32-29.

The fans in attendance for the San Diego and Birmingham game were 20,986 in attendance. Here are all the totals for week 6!
