Who will be the Super Bowl’s Unsung Hero?
It seems like there is always an Unsung hero in the Super Bowl. From guys like David Tyree, to Malcolm Butler, every year someone steps up to the plate in the big game to really shine. This year we are going to do something different. We are going to pick three guys we feel will end up being the Unsung Hero of the Super Bowl.
Chris Hogan – Mr. Seven11 himself, given the nickname on HBO Hard Knocks because he is always open. Hogan has not really been a guy that breaks out for the Patriots, but this former Lacrosse player has everything the Patriots love. He is a tough player, who does what is asked and does not complain. Hogan will likely draw Nickel Robey-Coleman who took shots against Hogan’s quarterback Tom Brady calling him Old and not the same as he was in his prime. Robey-Coleman who will draw Hogan could be a guy Brady wants to expose. Get this though, both Robey-Coleman and Hogan were former Buffalo Bills (Oh how we let talent slip away).
Duron Harmon – The Patriots will need their secondary to step up and Duron Harmon is a guy that is always around the batted ball. I think Harmon will be a guy that could seal the win with a pick. I would not rule him out to be this years Unsung Hero. Harmon is a die hard fan of Draft Diamonds as well so we maybe a little bias….
Samson Ebukam – Yes you are probably wondering who he is but the former Eastern Washington pass rusher is no joke. He is a guy that can get to the quarterback and really hurt the opposing teams drive. If Ebukam can apply pressure on Tom Brady the game could be interesting. While everyone will focus on Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh, remember this kids name, because he can flat out crush the QB.
NFL Draft Diamonds was created to assist the underdogs playing the sport. We call them diamonds in the rough.
