Kyler Murray will return his signing bonus to the Oakland A’s and fully commit to the NFL moving forward.

Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray has finally made up his mind. He is going all in for the pigskin. Kyler Murray will return. 1.29 million dollars of the 1.5 million dollar signing bonus the Oakland A’s gave him last year. He is forfeiting the 3.16 million dollars due on March 1st, and the A’s will put him on the restricted list and retain Murray’s rights, but they do not get a comp draft pick, according to Jeff Passan.

Murray said today he is fully committed to the NFL via Twitter, saying:

“Moving forward, I am firmly and fully committing my life and my time to becoming an NFL quarterback.”

“Football has been my love and passion my entire life. I was raised to play QB, and I very much look forward to dedicating 100% of myself to being the best QB possible and winning NFL Championships. I have started an extensive training program to further prepare myself for upcoming NFL workouts and interviews. I eagerly await the opportunity to continue to prove to NFL decision makers that I am the franchise QB in this NFL Draft.”
