Projected first round pick reportedly tore his ACL training for his pro day

Mississippi State defensive end Jeffery Simmons tore his ACL according to ESPN Adam Schefter

If it has not been a rough enough for Mississippi State defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, things are about to get worse. Simmons the projected first round pick suffered a knee injury according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Simmons is rated by Mel Kiper Jr. as the number 12 over draft prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft.  Simmons was already told he could not attend the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis because of a previous arrest.

This is a huge blow for Simmons and according to Schefter, a statement will be released later to calrify the injury.
