My Father … Prime example of a father. He didn’t have it so easy growing up but capitalized off of that and always keep everything positive. Literally gives everything he’s got and goes all out for myself and my siblings up to this day … I inherited my wisdom from him

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Toss up between James Harrison & Justin Houston … we’re all highly underrated, Quick and powerful get offs, strength to set the edge in run game and also the athleticism to get around it in pass rush, hand techniques, relentless pursuit to the ball and ability to have our way with offensive linemen
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Not stepping on the field or even being listed on the travel squad my freshman year in high school to becoming NYC’s Sack Leader the following year … Persistence, visualization, first one in the weight room and the last to leave
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Pray, put on headphones and face paint, stretch, go into “silent killer mode” as my teammates say, and watch highlights of myself and favorite players
What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?
Birthday sack on 4th and goal vs El Camino College in 2014 and ending up winning game 29-26
What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?
Hard to choose just one, but most memorable would have to be buying a homeless guy who was just released from jail, anything he wanted from Popeyes and gave him $20 for his pocket right after getting my very first paycheck … randomly ran into him, felt that he was a genuine guy who wished to change his life around
