Who is your role model, and why?

My mother. She’s worked hard continuously to make sure my brother and I have everything we’ve ever needed as a single mom. Her mentality of working for everything you get has been instilled in me since birth.

Who was your favorite teacher?

Mr. Giles, my Chemistry teacher all through high school.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Soccer (Goalie) until 8th grade, Track (Shotput and Discus) and Basketball when I was in high school.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Larry Ogunjobi UNC Charlotte, DT drafted in the 3rd Round to the Cleveland Browns. I played against him my Redshirt Freshman year.

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Rodney Hudson, Raiders. Both him and I play with high motors, look to finish blocks and play with a high football IQ.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Towards the end of the season my Uncle lost his long battle to lung cancer. He was my father figure in my life growing up. He taught me many hard lessons about winning and losing but never to dwell on the loss but learn from it and become better by the next game. I make a conscious effort to be a great man like him and make him proud in everything I do.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Usually I listen to a pre-game playlist on my phone for a while then take in my surroundings before hitting the field.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

Making a key block on a pull this year to spring our running back Logan Holbrook (who played with me in high school at Spencer County High School) to a 60 yard run that sprung a comeback win over our PFL rival Dayton.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

I worked with my church Second Baptist Church Taylorsville in a program called “Dare to Care” where we would give food boxes out to needing families in the community.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

I didn’t have a favorite team growing up, but I would watch the technique of the offensive linemen playing in the games so I could try to implement what they were doing to my own game.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My Uncle, John Hannah and Drake.
