Who is your role model, and why?
My role model is my dad. He raised me and instilled values in me that ultimately made me the man I am today.
Who was your favorite teacher?
My favorite teacher was my English teacher of my freshman year of college.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
I played basketball and football growing up.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
The toughest player I have ever faced was Alvin Kamara. He plays for the New Orleans saints currently.
Who is the most underrated player on your team?
The most underrated player on our team is our slot receiver Michael Lawrence.
What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?
Scarface, No tears.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
I would compare myself to Vaughan Miller because he can rush the passer really well and I consider myself an good pass rusher.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
When I was in college my grandmother passed away and I overcame it with prayer and football.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Another d-end and I would go to the middle of the field, regardless of the field, & say a prayer.
What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?
I had a spin move sack against the rice QB that was really well executed.
What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?
I feel the coolest thing I’ve done for someone, was purposing to my fiancé. It was a great experience for our families.
Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?
The San Francisco 49ers.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
I would choose Tupac, Martin Luther King, & Jesus Christ.
