Who is your role model, and why?

My role model is my father because he always been in my life and believed in me. He would invest in me and make sure I never went without. He was everything a father was supposed to be and more.

Who was your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher would probably be my high school phycology teacher Mr. Tisa, because he understood students. He would always encourage me, and tell me that I’m more than I give myself credit for.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Growing up in high school I ran indoor and outdoor track.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Toughest player I ever played against is probably Tre Sullivan who currently plays for the eagles I believe.

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

The most underrated player on my team is my roommate Terrance Baldwin. He’s a four year starter at CB. This past season he had zero touchdowns scored on him and only gave up around a total of 120 receiving yards. The conference failed to give him the recognition he deserved.

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

Earned it-Chief Keef

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I said this in other interviews, but I will compare my play to Patriots RB Dion Lewis. I say this because we’re of similar stature, and can create mismatches for LB out the backfield. We both run hard when needed as well.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle was probably seeing my mom stressing and struggling growing up. But she always overcame it because she is a strong woman. She also made sure that her kids didn’t go without. She is one of the reason I am the person I am today.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

My pregame ritual starts when I wake up, I listen to gospel music almost every morning. Then I build up and switch it up as the game approaches. If it’s a home game I will get in the hot tub to get the blood flowing in my legs. Last but not least say a prayer with my teammates.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

The most memorable play of my career was my sophomore year when we were playing the number nine team in the country and I ran someone over and scored on a zone to ice the game before half.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

Coolest thing I did for someone else off the field was spend time with kids at a children’s hospital.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

Favorite NFL team was the chargers because I loved to watch LT play RB.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

If I could have dinner with three people, one would be my close friend Javont Williams just to spend one last day with him. He passed when we were in high school. The second is Joshua Eze he has a ministry out in Charlotte, NC. I just enjoy his passion for God and his gift of speaking. The third person would be Nick Saban, so I can absorb his leadership skills and knowledge.
