Norwalk, CA

Who is your role model, and why?

My role model is my cousin Elijhaa Penny because I’ve seen him face a lot of adversity and it never stopped him from reaching his goal.

Who was your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher was my high school English teacher Mr. Westerfield.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I grew up playing basketball and I have played that my whole life.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

The toughest player I’ve played against was Allie Freeman from Ouachita Baptist.

Who is the most underrated player on your team

The most underrated player on my team is either Jason Lee or Myles Russel they don’t get recognized enough for their knowledge for the game and how hard they work.

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

Ambitionz Az a Ridah by Tupac

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

If I could compare myself to any NFL player it would have to be Malcom Jenkins because I feel like I can cover while also playing in the box and helping with run support.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest obstacle I have ever faced had to be the recruiting process out of JUCO. I was hyped up with pre season all American and I didn’t live up to it I lost all interest of going D1 and I waited to the last minute to decide and all my offers went away but I just prayed on it and got advice from peers to not get discouraged so I had to learn to have patience and it was a humbling process.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

My Pre-Game rituals consist of playing R&B so I can calm my nerves then playing some hip-hop to get back turnt before I  go to the field before anyone is out there to just warm up and get my mind right.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

The most memorable play of my college career was making a big hit against a tailback screen play.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

The coolest thing I’ve ever done for anyone off the field is help out with football camps.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

My favorite NFL team is the Saints.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Sean Taylor, Kanye West and Bill Gates.
