Who is your role model, and why?

My father is my role model. He has pushed my whole life, and I wouldn’t be where I was without him.

Who was your favorite teacher?

Mark Lasota

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Yes, I wrestled growing up.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

In junior college, I played Jeremiah Ledbetter. He later went on to Arkansas, now playing for Detroit. He was one of the most technically skilled and strong opponents that I have faced.

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

Set it off- Lil Boosie

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Jason Kelce, because he is an undersized compared to others. He is technically sound and does not take plays off.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

When I transferred to junior college and had to do everything so I could earn a scholarship to finish up college. I grew up a lot in those two years, and I learned out to bring it every day in everything that I do.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

No

What is the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

I don’t have a specific play, but playing at Kyle Field was memorable. I had always dreamed of playing in that stadium in front of 100,000 people, and it was fun to be able to accomplish that.

What was the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

When I was in high school, I volunteered with special needs children. I really enjoyed that experience, and plan to continue that work in the future.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

Dallas Cowboys

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Jesus, Johnny Cash, and Clint Eastwood
