Who was your favorite teacher?

Professor Chasity Brown, She’s helped in creating possible careers for me to be involved in for life after athletics and has put a lot of effort into trying to get me internships and shadow opportunities for many different careers in my field. Track & Field, Little bit of basketball

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Eric Shufford, In the offseason coming out of high school he taught me a lot of things about the game that I still use today. In the CIAA the toughest player I faced was Rahman Kamara, He was patient enough not to over play a receiver but was still physical with his game. So he didn’t underplay you but he also didn’t over play you. It was a good battle over the last two years .

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

Elijah Smith, I feel like due to some circumstances he couldn’t control he didn’t really et to showcase most of his talent. But since he’s been invited to a few bowl games he’ll have the chance to open some eyes once people see his speed and athletic ability.

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

Hold Me Back by Rick Ross

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Jermaine Kearse or Alshone Jeffery, from body type to skill set! They both have the ability to make tough plays on the ball, jermane because he is able to run the full route tree, and my size allows me to use my body to make plays in traffic and my attitude and hard work carries over on the field with run after the catch! I refuse to be tackled and attack EVERY yard I possibly can. Alshone because even tho he isn’t fast he is a very dangerous deep threat because of his ability to play the deep ball with body control and attitude

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Finishing out of junior college. There were a lot of things that were happening that I couldn’t control that was making it difficult for me to be a student. I finished up the last two months living out of my car and missing meals. But I needed to finish in order to obtain my degree and move on, But with an overload of classes and not having a roof and at times meals it made life pretty difficult.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

A lot of prayer, I constantly thank God for the opportunity to play on game days. I usually start from a back corner of the end zone and take some warm up jogs to each corner and pray.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

Week 4 of my junior year, we were playing St Augustine and were down by 7 with about 20 seconds left to go in the half. I told my QB to just throw it up and trust me, he ended up putting it in the air against double coverage and I went up and got it to tie the game and give us the momentum going into the half.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

I worked with Samaritan’s Feet through the CIAA, It was an event we went to a less fortunate school and supplied the students with new socks and shoes and recycled the ones they no longer wanted by option. It was a good experience to see the kids faces light up as we were able to connect with the youth and leave a positive mark in someone’s life.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

Atlanta Falcons, I still have a signed Mike Vick jersey I keep in my closet.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My mother, Tupac, My old teammate who’s not with us, Sheldon Martin. We could talk about how I was able to live almost all the things we used to talk about.
