Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
The coolest thing I have done off the field is volunteer and serve the Petersburg Community by reading to elementary school kids and enjoying being a part of their annual field day.
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
The hardest college class I have taken was Accounting 2
Where are you from?
I am from the Tidewater and Hampton Roads area in Virginia. I spent most of my childhood in Newport news and my middle to high school years in Virginia Beach.
Who is your role model, and why?
My role model is Richard Sherman
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Yes, I played basketball and ran track
Did you play any other positions in football?
Yes , I played Running back, Kick Returner and Slot Receiver
At your position, what separates you from others?
My technique and route recognition
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
The toughest player I have ever faced is Eli Harold
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Tyrann Mathieu
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
The biggest obstacle in my life I had to overcome was growing up with separate parents and being in an environment where everyone says you can’t. I overcame this obstacle with heart, hard work, determination, and prayer.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Yea, the night before every game I eat pasta for dinner. On Game days I listen to my playlist and have Gatorade chews before the first kick-off.
What is your biggest strength?
My biggest strength is my speed and play making ability
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is my size
I would introduce myself and say my work ethic, film ,and my character speak for itself allow me to earn a chance to showcase my skills and I won’t let you down. Put me up against your best athletes and you will see me separate myself from others within the organization.
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
My favorite player growing up was Ray Lewis
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
I would choose Deon Sanders, Ray Lewis, and Josh Norman
What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?
Once I’m in the NFL I would buy a small home.
