My name is Aurren Cooksey
What is your Height/Weight?
My height is 5’7″ my weight is 205lbs
What is your position?
My position is running back
Where do you play college football?
I play football at Louisiana College in Pineville, LA.
Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
The coolest thing I have done off the field is be their for others and help them improve to get better
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
The hardest college class I have taken is federal income tax accounting
Where are you from?
I am from Grand Cane, Louisiana
Who is your role model, and why?
My role model is my grandfather who has taught me how to be a man and do what is right.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Besides football I played soccer as a kid and also ran track
Did you play any other positions in football?
I played cornerback when I was young and in highs school I played a little bit of linebacker
At your position, what separates you from others?
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
When I look at film the things I look for are small differences the opponent does in different situations and the speed and power and opponent puts on film
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
The toughest player I ever faced was myself. I had to overcome my mental blocks and thinking I was entitled to things then continuing to work
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
My pre game ritual is listening music before every game. The main song would be ultra light beams by Kanye West.
What is your biggest strength?
My biggest strength is my work ethic
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is my kindness
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
If a GM gave me a chance to sell myself I would say I’m ready, I can handle whatever you throw at me, and u won’t find anybody who going to strive to be the best like I am
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
My favorite player in NFL history is LaDainian Tomlinson and my favorite teams are the San Diego Chargers and New Orleans Saints
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
If I could have dinner with three people dead or alive I would choose Michael Jackson, Tupac, and President Barrack Obama
What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?
The first big thing I would buy would be a new Ford F-150.
