Cowboys rookie QB skipped a Kanye West concert because it was too late
This year Dak Prescott has been amazing on the football field. He has been playing lights out and the former Mississippi State gunslinger has been taking the starting role serious. In a report from Sports Illustrated, Pete Thamel talked to Prescott about recently receiving free tickets to a Kanye West concert, and was asked if he attended.
“I wanted to go a little bit,” Prescott said of the Kanye show. “But I just think about the perception of it all. And I love my sleep.”
Pete Thamel of Sports Illustrated broke down Prescott’s reasoning a bit more in the story.
“The 23-year-old Prescott worries like this because he treasures his reality so much. In six dizzying months he has zoomed from fourth-round pick to serendipitous starter to one of the league’s top rookies, orchestrating the second-ranked offense for the 4–1 Cowboys.”
