Vikings have placed RB Adrian Peterson on injured reserve

Today the Minnesota Vikings placed running back Adrian Peterson on the injured reserve. Peterson is eligible to come back and play as early as November 20th, when the Vikings take on the Cardinals. The only problem is the Vikings placed both Matt Kalil and Adrian Peterson on the injured reserve, and they can only remove one of the players from the I/R if healthy. The Vikings will have a tough decision to make and I am sure they will consider this when the new rules are proposed as well next spring.
Adrian Peterson being placed on injured reserve means either he or Matt Kalil definitely out for season. Only 1 can be designated to return
