Redskins starting center agrees to take a pay cut

Field Yates of ESPN is reporting that Washington Redskins veteran G Kory Lichtensteiger has agreed to a pay cut. Lichtensteiger has agreed to reduce his salary from $3.5 million to $2.25 million for the 2016 season. However, he can earn the $1.25 million difference back by reaching incentives.

He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Bowling Green State University. Lichtensteiger has also played for the Minnesota Vikings.
