Colts wide out Donte Moncrief will miss 4-6 weeks with fractured scapula
Colts HC Chuck Pagano announced Wednesday that WR Donte Moncrief has a fractured scapula and will be out 4-6 weeks.
Moncrief’s injury occurred in the first quarter of a 34-20 loss to the Broncos. He did not return to the game.
The Colts will have to lean heavily on Phillip Dorsett, who would become the No. 2 receiver behind No. 1 T.Y. Hilton. Moncrief’s potential absence would mean an expanded role for backups Quan Bray and Chester Rogers.
In two appearances this season, Moncrief has seven catches for 73 yards and one touchdown.
