Browns tried to sign Alex Tanney off the Titans PS, but it didn’t work`
The Cleveland Browns were practice squad shopping and thought they found themselves a steal in quarterback Alex Tanney who was on the Titans roster. There was only one problem though, the Titans did not want to lose him. According to Field Yates of ESPN the Titans agreed to give QB Alex Tanney a pay raise up to $30,882.35 per week after the Browns attempted to sign him off of their practice squad.
Tanney is now being paid as though he was on the Titans’ 53-man roster, even though he’s still on their practice squad.
The former Trick Shot QB and Youtube Sensation is still bouncing around the league, but for at least now it looks like he is happy in Tennessee.
