Saints sign two players and release DB Alden Darby with an injury settlement

Today the New Orleans Saints were pretty busy. The team signed rookie defensive back Jamal Golden the former Georgia Tech undrafted rookie, according to Joel Erickson of the Advocate. The Saints are also planning to release Alden Darby, who has an injury, according to Josh Katzenstein.
Joel A. Erickson reports that the Saints have also signed OL Jordan Walsh to a contract on Wednesday.
Jordan Walsh played offensive guard for the University of Iowa. Jordan Walsh, a 2011 four-star recruit, started 38 of 46 career games at Iowa. He redshirted in 2011 before making his first career start as a freshman in 2012. That would be his only start at left guard as his final 37 all came at right guard in Iowa’s pro-style offense.
