Packers cut two players including Matt Rotheram
Today the Green Bay Packers released OG Matt Rotheram and LS Jesse Schmitt, according to the Packers website.
Rotheram is a first-year player out of the University of Pittsburgh, originally signed with the Packers as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2015 and spent the entire 2015 season on Green Bay’s practice squad.
Schmitt, a 6-foot-2, 250-pound rookie out of Purdue signed with Green Bay on Aug. 9.
