Giants owner admits the team knew of Josh Brown’s domestic violence history; Has no reason to cut him
The New York Giants were not making it easy for first year head coach Ben McAdoo. He was left to answer all the question regarding Josh Brown and his recent string of domestic violence allegations. Today the Giants owner admits he knew that Josh Brown had issues in his background, but says the team did their homework.
“We did our homework here,” Mara said, via Paul Schwartz of the New York Post.
Mara said he wanted to give his kicker a chance, saying that domestic violence “is such a complex and emotional decision.”
