Colts WR Donte Moncrief will help raise former deceased Colt Zurlon Tipton’s daughter

What is football about? Here is a wonderful story about a game that is more than a game.

Donte Moncrief plans to help support the daughter of Zurlon Tipton, a former Colts running back who was killed after accidentally shooting himself in June, according to ESPN.

Moncrief and Tipton were friends and both from the South. Moncrief just wants to help out another Southerner.

“That comes from being from the South,” Moncrief said via ESPN. “Wanting to help people and always give back. Like my dad always says, it’s better to give than receive. I look at it as if she’s my daughter and I want to make sure she’s well taken care of. I know that’s something he would do for me.”
