Texans WR De’Andre Hopkins wants to remain a Texan and be paid what he is worth
De’Andre Hopkins is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and the former Clemson star was talking about it with Tania Ganguli of ESPN yesterday. The touchdown machine was asked about his contract situation and Hopkins was pretty straight forward saying he wants to remain a Texan and get what he is worth.
“I’m not looking for a certain range,” Hopkins said Saturday, via Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com. “I just want to be treated for what I’m worth. That’s fair to say, right?”
For now, the team and Hopkins’ agents are talking.
“You know, that’s between my agents and the Texans,” Hopkins said. “I love this city. I don’t want to play anywhere else but here. So the rest will work itself out, hopefully.
