Texans superstar J.J. Watt could miss 6-8 weeks with a back injury
NFL Media Insiders reporter Ian Rapoport, is reporting that Houston Texans pass rusher J.J. Watt is expected to miss six to eight weeks even though Mike Garafolo states it could be up to 10 weeks to recover.
Rapoport to noted that Watt could require more than 6-8 weeks, which isn’t what was initially said. Either way this is a huge loss for Watt and the Texans. The Texans better hope that Jadeveon Clowney pans out, because he needs help at this point.
Watt is now a serious candidate to miss the entire first month of the season, with the reserve/PUP list perhaps even an outside possibility. That would be the worst-case scenario.
