Report: Aqib Talib could face discipline for shooting in club
Mike Klis of Channel 9 News in Colorado, answered questions regarding the Broncos and their training camp via the website and there was one interesting response to a question involving Aqib Talib.
Klis was asked Will Aqib Talib start the season? Klis responded by saying Talib could still face punishment from the NFL for getting shot.
It’s not so much the cornerback’s physical recovery from gunshot wounds to his right leg on June 5 in Dallas. It’s who shot the gun and where. The NFL has been conducting its own investigation while the case also remains open by the Dallas police.
League discipline is a possibility. If Talib – who was a tremendous, big-play corner last year — misses the start of the season, Bradley Roby would fill in at left corner opposite Chris Harris Jr. with Kayvon Webster expected to step up into the nickel role.
