NFLPA president says Goodell’s discipline hurt’s the NFL’s competitive balance
Eric Winston the NFLPA president was on Sirius XM NFL Radio this morning and he was talking about Tom Brady’s four game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy and procedures. I see what Winston is saying, but the players should comply and they will not have to worry about that.
“I think the one thing that has been lost in this conversation is how much it’s affected competitive balance throughout the league,” Winston said on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “The NFL is always so big on competitive balance but you see these random suspensions that have been handed down over the last two, three years, it’s definitely affected competitive balance.”
Winston was talking about the situation with Tom Brady, because the Dolphins and Bills will face a Brady-less Patriots team while the Jets have to face the Patriots twice with Brady.
“Your team might be playing with a guy who should have been out there but wasn’t out there. You know how it is with the schedules in the league,” Winston said.
I honestly do not care how it works, but as a Bills fan I am not going to lie. I am smiling…..
