Michael Bennett wants a new contract; Still complaining about the deal he signed
Michael Bennett may be one of the biggest babies in the NFL. Every year the guy complains about his contract situation but he never gets his way.
He believes his contributions on the field do not meet his salary.
“I just want to be fairly compensated with the top guys in the league,” Bennett said, via the Huffington Post. “I’m definitely one of the top five defensive ends.”
Bennett signed a four-year, $28.5 million deal with the Seahawks in 2014. In terms of average value per year, Bennett’s contract ranks 19th in the NFL among defensive ends.
