Even though four witnesses say Zeke Elliott did not hit a woman, she will proceed with an attorney
We have seen some crazy things in the past but this may be one of the oddest things I have seen in the NFL in a while. A woman is claiming that Ezekiel Elliott put his hands on her but four people in the car say that never happened. The police did not charge Elliott because there was not enough evidence, and the case could have been dropped. The only problem is the parties have to let the case go. Well his accuser won’t and she has now went to the city’s attorney’s office.
This case will go on according to TMZ Sports.
“We currently have an open investigation,” a rep for the Columbus City Attorney tells TMZ Sports.
“We are collecting as much evidence as possible. Once the investigation is complete, our office will determine if there is sufficient evidence to establish probable cause. Basically, whether there is enough evidence to charge him or not.”
