Roddy White says he will play for a contender or retire
Roddy White is 34 years old but the former UAB standout is hoping to find a new home soon. He would like to play for a contender, and if he is not offered a shot by a contender he is going to retire. He looked at the teams in need of a wide out and was not impressed.
“When my agent and I went down the list and I saw the teams that really needed wide receivers, I was like, ‘Wow, I really don’t want to go there,’” White said, via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I knew I couldn’t win with any of those teams. At this point of my career, I don’t want to be dragging my feet in Week 13 just to have an opportunity to be 4-10 next week.”
