According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Giants and Bengals both placed waivers claims for QB Zach Mettenberger on Tuesday.

Yesterday we spoke about both of these teams. Both have been trying to find a back-up quarterback. Both teams have horrible depth behind their initial starters.
