#Titans have released QB Zach Mettenberger; Team signs several free agents
The Titans cut Zach Mettenberger as they made room for four tryout players from rookie minicamp: FB Sam Bergen (Rutgers), WR Ben Roberts (Montana), DE Mike Smith (Southern Miss.) and CB Bennett Okotcha (Texas – San Antonio). The team dropped Mettenberger, DE Iosia Iosia, TE Kevin Greene and WR Rashon Ceaser.
This is very interesting considering that Mettenberger started for Tennessee when Marcus Mariota was injured. This could be a good signing for a team that needs a quarterback. Maybe the Jets or Broncos could coming for Mettenberger’s services.
