#Seahawks are moving Justin Britt from guard to center

The Seattle Seahawks have been trying to find a starting center since trading Max Unger to the Saints in exchange for Jimmy Graham. The team will now move former offensive tackle Justin Britt inside to center. Last year Britt played left guard and has played every position on the line. This will be huge for him if he can make a difference at center. His coach Tom Cable feels he will be fine at making the transition.
“That’s what enables us to do it, to even try it is the fact that he is well-versed in our system, two years,” Cable said on ESPN 710. “Now he’s played tackle, played guard, understands it. The issue for him will be getting him comfortable and confident snapping and playing against the nose guard.”
Britt will competing with Patrick Lewis and sixth-rounder Joey Hunt at center.
