Montreal Alouettes trade a first round pick to acquire the rights for QB Vernon Adams

Vernon Adams the former Oregon Ducks quarterback will be headed North of the border. According to Alex Marvez, Vernon Adams will be joining the Montreal Alouettes.
The Montreal Alouettes acquired the Canadian Football League rights to former Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams on Friday from the British Columbia Lions for a first-round pick next year.

Adams had a workout with the Washington Redskins and the Seattle Seahawks. He is ready to dominate the CFL, so we wish him the best of luck.
