Las Vegas Mayor says that if the #Raiders do not work out they will focus on the Chargers
Las Vegas is trying very hard to land an NFL football team, and who can blame them. The National Football League is the most watched sport in the World, and it continues to grow daily. When Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman was asked about the NFL heading to Vegas she was very upfront to Dan Patrick.
Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman said on the Dan Patrick Show that she is not worried if the Raiders deal does not go through because her and her husband have a very good relationship with Chargers owner Alex Spanos. Goodman went on to say that if the Raiders deal did not go through then they would then focus their attention on the San Diego Chargers.
“My husband and I have had season tickets at the Chargers for the past 30-plus years and we would love that, and Alex Spanos already has some relationship with us here in the city — he’s been a developer for us in the ’70s and ’80s,” Goodman said. “I know they’re absolutely looking to move and that’s another place to go.”
It sounds like Vegas is super serious about adding an NFL team. Many feel it will not work out in Vegas, but tons of people go there every year. Why not make another attraction?
