#Cowboys will not trade Darren McFadden or Alfred Morris; Elliott must compete to win starting spot

The Dallas Cowboys are stacked at the running back position and they know it. They are not going to change up a thing though. According to their coaches the team will not be trading Alfred Morris or Darren McFadden.
“We got calls during the draft asking to trade for a couple of our running backs, and we just don’t have that interest,” Jones said Thursday, via Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
The Cowboys staff will not even hand the keys to Ezekiel Elliott. According to their running backs coach, Zeke must earn the starting spot.
“He’s going to compete,” running backs coach Gary Brown said, via Clarence E. Hill, Jr. of the Star-Telegram. “Zeke has to earn it. I think that’s the best thing for our team and for those guys going forward.”
