Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett takes a shot at Ronald Leary and his agent
Ronald Leary and the Cowboys are going through a nasty divorce right now. According to an interview with Jason Garrett, Leary is making a bad decision. Garrett took a couple jabs at Leary.
“That’s a contract situation that he and his agent feel it’s best for him to stay away,” Garrett said, via ESPN’s Todd Archer. “We don’t think it’s good for him. We don’t think it’s good for our team, but that’s how they’re handling the situation right now. It’s best to be here working and just going back to business,” Garrett said. “Take care of your business as a professional on a daily basis, and usually good things happen for you.”
Leary recently requested a trade from the Cowboys because he does not want to be a backup this season. He then told them he would hold out of OTA’s if he was not traded. Leary then removed the Cowboys name from his Twitter page. Now Garrett is taking shots. This is not going to be pretty.
