#Saints have re-signed running back Tim Hightower
Veteran running back Tim Hightower is re-signing with the New Orleans Saints, according to Katherine Terrell of The Times-Picayune.
Hightower was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Richmond.
He averaged 114 yards from scrimmage in the final four games last season. Hightower wanted to return to the Saints so this is a great fit. They do have quite a bit of backs though.
