Dolphins safety Reshad Jones is holding out of OTA’s until he lands a new deal

According to Armando Salguero, the Miami Dolphins and safety Reshad Jones are in a contract dispute, and Jones is not happy.

Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl safety Reshad Jones, perhaps the best defensive player on the team in 2015, is sitting out today’s voluntary veteran minicamp and will not report to any activity this offseason unless he gets a contract extension, according to Salguero.

Source close to Reshad Jones tells me he’s not content with his contract and plans to sit out offseason unless extension done.
Jones was named the Dolphins MVP in 2015 and was selected to the Pro Bowl as well. Mario Williams, Ndamukong Suh and Koa Misi were others not in attendance.
