Jets have released tight end Jeff Cumberland — Chargers have signed former Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland

Today the San Diego Chargers signed former Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland according to Adam Caplan of Fox Sports.

Cumberland was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets in 2010. He played college football at Illinois.
