The Cincinnati Bengals have made their first move of the off-season. The Bengals re-signed wide receiver Brandon Tate to a one year deal.

Tate, 28, has been with the Bengals since 2011. Serving as the team’s primary punt returner, he caught two passes in 2015 for 59 yards — the highlight being a 55-yard touchdown against Kansas City on Oct. 4.

Last year, he became the Bengals’ career leader in punt returns (153) and punt return yards (1411).

Tate was drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at North Carolina.
